i am not from manila, a friend of mine transacted in my behalf. when the item arived, i noticed that the power supply was not the same as its supposed to, i texted the seller and he said they have been using it for ore than a year now, he and some team mates maybe. when i tested the item, a burning smell was in the air and all the led's were lit up. it has a warranty sticker so i tried to contact the seller, some answered his phone and told me he was still asleep. considering i needed to use the charger and since it was 2nd hand to me i decided to have it repaired in the nearby electronic shop and they sliced(note) through the center of the warranty sticker. they told me that some parts were burned and hence unreadable so it cannot be repaired. i tried to contact the seller told him my predicament and asked him to help me fix the charger, not financially but by finding repair shops even in manila area. he said yes he will then no word at all. i decided to contact a fellow airsofter who supplies batteries and charger if he could look at the charger and said yes. so i ventured to manila. as he checkked the charger he noticed that some parts(diodes) were already replaced and the warranty sticker was carefully peeled off and returned. a normal eye would not notice but he being an expert noticed it. also, the power supply that came with it had a reading of much more higher voltage than it was suppoed to. i contacted the seller again thru text and nformed him what happened, he said there shouldnt be any problem because they have been using it(he and his friends). i told him then maybe (if he doesnt know) some of his friends tricked him then by oppening the charger and replacing a part which is logical since the charger was giving a higher voltage output. again i contacted him and he told me i shouldnt have opened it. i explained to him that i have been trying to reach him and since i am far from manila and an electronic chop was near, i opted to have it looked at especially since he did not inform me the warranty if its still under its period or not. and again i asked him if he could help me by locating a repair shop or at least a blue print of the charger so i would know the burned part and look for a replacement. i stressed out that i am not asking for a refund or rebate but just a helping hand, he did not reply. you be the judge. i hope what has happend to me will not happen to anybody else here in sulit.
